bread is life.

we believe all good things come from the humblest of ingredients: flour, water, wild yeasts, local produce, fresh proteins.

we incorporate sourdough culture into every dish we prepare, whether a humble breakfast sandwich, fresh pasta, or rustic soup.

tasting is believing - dine with us and live well!

A LOCAL DESTINATION

HoopHouse Bakery + Café has been making news in the local food scene since their opening in August 2020. The kitchen sources seasonal produce from a network of NJ farmers, and features hand-crafted sourdough baked goods made in-house by Chef Christine.

The cuisine is eclectic, yet familiar and approachable, inspired by the Garden State and its diverse international influences, and of course - sourdough bread!

Eat Together

Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of sweet, salty, and savory — food that truly puts flavor first.

#sourdoughlove

We believe the best things in food are natural, and maintaining our starter ‘family’ allows us to bring high quality sourdough baked goods to southern New Jersey. Clancy, Betty, and Angus work hard to make our products tastier, more nutritious, and highly digestible!

HoopHouse proudly uses only naturally leavened doughs to craft everything from bagels, to croissants, to stunning hearth breads. You can find our baked goods in house, or at local farm markets throughout the spring, summer and fall.
